Dr. Luis E. Colón, M.D.
Dr. Colón, a native of Puerto Rico, has
been associated with Eye Physicians. Inc, since 1990. His undergraduate
and medical school were completed at the University of Puerto Rico
main campus and the U.P.R. Medical Sciences campus respectively.
He completed his internship in internal medicine at Madigan Army
Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington and completed his ophthalmology
residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Aurora, Colorado while
serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. Upon completion of his U.S. Army
commitment, Dr. Colón did an apprenticeship in ocular plastic
and reconstructive surgery with Richard L. Anderson, M.D. (oculoplastic
surgeon) at the University of Utah Medical Center. In addition to
enjoying the whole spectrum of eye care and surgery, Dr. Colón
has a special interest in correcting eyelid aging as well as trauma
on cancer related defects of the eyelids.
